Understand in the blink of an eye how to use
our Flood Protection?
How does it work?
The FlowStop flood barrier is made of two main parts: an upper cushion and a lower chamber.
The upper cushion is designed to push sideways against the wall. The intense pressure keeps the device in place, creating a roof over the lower chamber.
When the upper chamber is inflated, the lower cushion is trapped between the ground and the upper cushion. As it inflates, it expands and presses down against the ground, forming a water-tight seal.
FlowStops are constructed from PVC, making them durable against debris, temperature fluctuations, wind, and impacts.
They are manufactured using drop-stitch technology, similar to that used in inflatable paddleboards.
This enables us to inflate them with over 15 PSI, producing a robust barrier. The pressure also helps to contour around surface imperfections, creating an effective water-resistant seal.

Sizes
As long or as tall as you need.
Width:
We custom-make FlowStop to fit the width of your opening up to 75".
Please measure your openings from wall to wall.
Depth:
The depth of the FlowStop depends on its width.
-
For openings under 78" wide, the opening needs to be at least 6" deep.
-
For openings wider than 78": the opening needs to be at least 8" deep.
Make sure your opening is deep enough for your FlowStop.
Height:
FlowStop can be ordered to a height appropriate for your water levels.
Investigate and plan accordingly by understanding your flood zone requirements.

Solutions to add more depth
Permanent and temporary Brackets/posts can be installed to add the needed depth.
Brackets and posts must be sealed to the wall.
