Privacy Policy

Last Updated: August 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Flood Prevention Texas, a DBA of Maximum Ventures, LLC, a Texas limited liability company ("Flood Prevention Texas," "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you visit floodpreventiontexas.com or request a quote through us (the "Site"). This Policy should be read together with our Terms & Conditions.

Flood Prevention Texas is FlowStop's authorized sales agent for Texas. We do not manufacture, sell, invoice, or deliver FlowStop flood barrier products ourselves - FlowStop Industries SAS ("FlowStop"), which manufactures its products in the United States, does. Because of that role, some of the information you provide to us is necessarily shared with FlowStop and with independent installers, as described in Section 3 below.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide directly: your name, email address, phone number, property address, and project details (such as opening measurements and photos) when you submit a contact form, request a quote, or otherwise communicate with us.

Information collected automatically: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring URL, and similar technical data collected through cookies and similar technologies when you browse the Site (see Section 5, Cookies).

Information from third parties: if a FlowStop-approved installer performs your measurement, we may receive the resulting specifications back from them, and we may receive quote or order-status updates from FlowStop related to your inquiry.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To respond to your inquiries and provide quotes for FlowStop flood barrier products.

  • To coordinate an on-site measurement with an independent installer on your behalf.

  • To submit your specifications to FlowStop so FlowStop can prepare a quote and, if you proceed, manufacture and deliver your order.

  • To follow up with you about your experience, installation, or satisfaction after a purchase.

  • To operate, maintain, and improve the Site, and to understand how visitors use it.

  • To send you marketing communications about our services, where permitted, and which you may opt out of at any time.

  • To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms & Conditions.

3. How We Share Your Information

We share the information necessary to provide a quote and complete a purchase with:

  • FlowStop (FlowStop Industries SAS) - your contact details, property address, and measurement specifications, so FlowStop can prepare a quote, and manufacture, invoice, and deliver your order if you proceed. FlowStop manufactures its products in the United States, so this does not involve any international transfer of your information.

  • Independent installers - your contact details and property address, so they can schedule and perform your measurement.

  • Service providers - companies that host the Site, process form submissions, or provide analytics on our behalf (for example, our website platform, Wix), under obligations to protect your information.

  • Legal and safety purposes - where required by law, subpoena, or legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Flood Prevention Texas, our customers, or others.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own independent marketing purposes.

If Flood Prevention Texas or Maximum Ventures, LLC is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this Policy or a successor policy.

4. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as needed to respond to your inquiry, complete a transaction you initiated with FlowStop, provide follow-up service, and comply with our legal and recordkeeping obligations, after which we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it.

5. Cookies & Similar Technologies

The Site uses cookies and similar technologies to remember preferences, enable core functionality, and understand how visitors use the Site, including Wix's built-in site and analytics cookies, Google Analytics, and the Google Ads Pixel (Google Tag) for advertising measurement.

You can configure your browser to block or delete cookies; doing so may limit some Site functionality, such as saving a partially completed quote form.

6. Your Privacy Rights

The Texas Data Privacy and Security Act (TDPSA) applies broadly to businesses serving Texas residents, but exempts "small businesses" as defined by U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) size standards - a test based on revenue or employee count that varies by industry, not a fixed customer-count or revenue threshold. Many small operations, including Maximum Ventures, LLC, are likely to qualify for this exemption, which would mean the TDPSA's requirements apply to us only voluntarily rather than as a legal mandate - with one exception under Texas law: even exempt small businesses must obtain a consumer's consent before selling their sensitive personal data, which we do not do.

Regardless of whether the TDPSA strictly applies to us, we voluntarily extend the following rights to you: to confirm whether we process your personal information, access or obtain a copy of it, correct inaccuracies, request deletion, and receive a portable copy of the information you provided us. You may also opt out of marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in those emails, or by contacting us directly.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the information in Section 10.

7. Children's Privacy

The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

8. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Third-Party Links

The Site may link to third-party websites, including FlowStop's own site. This Policy does not apply to those third-party sites, and we encourage you to review their privacy practices separately.
